I am an only child. It's just me. And this is a fact I have always stomped my foot at. Countless times I lay in bed as a child, squeezing my eyes shut as if I COULD MAGICALLY CREATE A SIBLING. But, unfortunately I'm no Jeanie- so no siblings appeared. I'm not sure why it bothered me so much. I think I liked the idea of another human on earth who gets your stuff like you get their stuff. You get each other.  However, determined as I was, I went on to find my siblings. Or perhaps life created my siblings. Either way, I have beautiful friends who I love like siblings. We fight like siblings and we love like siblings. Love, friendships and connections bring about many things- such as inspiration. Throughout my life people have inspired me to be creative, work harder, dare to dream, to lean in, to be brave and to be bold. I have been inspired to rise to the occasion, whatever it may be. Here, WABI-SABI is about inspiring one another. Over time you will find writing and links here to people and moments that have inspired me, inspired change and will hopefully help inspire you- to rise to the occasion no matter what it is. EDUCATE | INSPIRE | LEARN.
